Class Difficulty


Beginning Level: Typically 0 to 2 years of technical training
Intermediate Level: Typically 2 to 4 years of technical training
Advanced Level: Typically more than 4 years of technical training

Class Descriptions


Mommy & Me: For dancers ages 18 months to 3 years. Dancers learn basic dance movements, develop motor coordination, and practice appropriate classroom behavior. Mom participates in the class to support the dancer so that he/she can prepare for classes where dancers learn independently from their parents.

Dress Code: For little dancers, onesie or leotard, ballet shoes, hair away from face. For moms, comfortable clothing, hair away from face.


Tiny Tumblers: For dancers ages 3 to 5 years. Dancers learn basic acrobatics, develop motor coordination, and practice appropriate classroom behavior. In this class, dancers will master acrobatics such as forward rolls, backbends, cartwheels, etc.

Dress Code: Any color leotard, barefoot, hair up. Spandex shorts and tights optional


Ballet/Jazz: For dancers ages 3 to 5 years. This is a combination class. The first half is ballet and the second half is jazz. Dancers learn the basics of each style of dance, develop motor coordination, and practice appropriate classroom behavior. If a dancer has expressed a serious interest in dance, this would be an ideal class because ballet and jazz technique will be fundamental to continuing dance education.

Dress Code: pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun. Skirts optional.


Creative Movement: For dancers ages 3 to 5 years. Dancers learn basic dance movements, develop motor coordination, and practice appropriate classroom behavior. As the title suggests, creativity is emphasized more in this class than in the others offered for this age group. This class is a good starting point for dancers that might be interested in dancing but are not sure what to expect.

Dress Code: pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun. Skirts optional.


Acrobatics: For dancers ages 6 years to adult. Dancers learn tumbling skills such as cartwheels, arials, back walkovers, and back handsprings. This is an ideal class for dancers who want to incorporate acrobatics into their dance repertoire.

Dress Code: Any of the following: leotard, shorts, sports bra, shirt. No long pants. No shoes. No tights.


Leaps and Turns: For dancers ages 6 years to adult. Dancers work on improving balance, strength, and flexibility while mastering a variety of jumps and turns. This class is very technique centered class.

Dress Code: Any of the following: Leotard, spandex shorts, sports bra, shirt. No long pants. Tights optional. Any of the following shoes: Ballet, pirouettes, jazz shoes, pedinis, foot undies.


Jazz: For dancers ages 6 years to adult. Dancers learn isolations, pirouettes, kicks, leaps, along with fun, upbeat choreography. This class will enable dancers to develop style and practice performing.

Dress Code: Any of the following: Leotard, spandex shorts, sports bra, shirt. No long pants. Tights optional. Shoes: jazz shoes or pedinis.


Ballet: For dancers ages 3 years to adult. Ballet/jazz is for ages 3 to 5 years. Pre-ballet is for ages 6 to 8 years. Dancers learn fundamental ballet technique while working on improving strength, grace, balance, and flexibility. Ballet is the foundation for many other styles of dance. For those with a serious interest in dance, ballet is a must.

Dress Code: For Pre-Ballet, pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun. Skirts optional. For adult ballet, comfortable clothing, ballet shoes, hair in a bun. For all other levels, black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun. For males in all levels, white shirt, black tights or pants, black ballet shoes.


Tap: For dancers ages 6 years to adult. Dancers learn traditional tap technique, develop a sense of rhythm, and hone improvisational skills . This is the perfect class for dancers interested in improving performance and musicality.

Dress Code: black jazz pants, black full soles tap shoes, comfortable top, hair up


Hip-Hop: For dancers ages 6 years to adult. Dancers develop a sense of rhythm, learn various hip-hop techniques, work on freestyle, and pick up intricate choreography. Anyone interested in performing and having fun should definitely try this class.

Dress Code: sweatpants, sneakers, comfortable shirt or tank top


Modern: For dancers ages 12 to adult. Dancers learn how to use the body creatively as well as technically. With an emphasis on creativity, Modern is a great class for dancers looking for an expressive outlet and an alternative to classical ballet.

Dress Code: leotard or camisole with either boy shorts or yoga pants. Hair away from face


Lyrical: For dancers with one year of ballet, ages 10 to adults. Dancers learn updated choreography with modern and contemporary music. .Using Ballet as its source of inspiration, Lyrical is a great class to apply your dance training in a new and exciting way.

Dress Code: leotard or camisole with boy shorts, leggings, lyrical shoes, or ballet shoes. Hair away from face
